HQ fuel inject 308?,after not getting a cheap 350 chev Im asking for some advice.Ive got a hq panelvan and Ive got a t400 and a308 with 3 sets of heads (including big valve hq)and lots of other parts ,etc but I want to know whats the most basic fuel injection I can use to make it a bit quicker because of the trans and statesman doors(heavy).I think its going to be a bit of a slug with this combo.Any advice with thanxz,ps I am not into commodores or the likes so i wouldnt know about their engines but I think vn heads are the go apparently?...Thanxz...jim

Yes, the whole top end from a VN-VSIII (except roller cam engines cam and lifters) will bolt onto any HT-VL 304/308 bottom end. This includes heads and cam. A better way to do it though is get a complete injected engine and use your sump, pickup and dipst

Mid VR onwards. The earlier blocks have 5.0L on both sides (lke early blocks have 253 or 308 on one or both sides). The clearanced blocks have a blank pad on both sides.

Jim there is a guy here in Adelaide that will put injectors into your existing 308 Manifold and then run a commodore fuel rail to get the fuel to them. Then he uses a camira computer to control it all. This is a much cheaper option for getting fuel inje
