The HQ/J and LH manifold doesnt have provision for the EGR ports used on the pollution red/blue/black heads, ie 4 inlet ports only on each side. James

Is the HQ the only one with the vacuum thingy and heater (?) outlet on the same side? Is there any way of telling by the numbers on the runners? Been a long time since I have looked at a stocko one. Thanks guys.

HT, HG, HQ, LH, pre-ADR27A LX and other LX/HX/HZ without ADR27A are all the same basic manifold. They are water heated and have no exhaust crossover provision. There is a choke operator on the drivers side below the carb. HT and HG have an extra hole tape |

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

? HT-HQ have a choke operator (thermostat) attached to the manifold on the side of the plenum. Thats what the heat tube that goes to the exhaust is attached to. Its the same basic operator mechanism with bi-metal spring that sits on the side of the later |

Yes, just put a mechanical (like L34) or electric choke conversion on it. You can also get extractors with a heat tube wrapped around one tube.
