Howdy,
I have recently acquired a vs calais and taking previous advice are going to swap the engine loom and all the wiring looms to get some creature comforts into my manual ute. However I would like to try and keep my ute as a munual. Have checked previous forums and have found much that has helped. So I have a couple of questions.
1. Can you swap an auto to a manual?
2. Do you need to do anything to the loom to accept a manual?

If your ute is also a VS, then the VS calais body harness swap into the ute is the best bet - entire body & dash harness (play with the wires to mate up the rear harness).

Retain your engine harness, and its plug-n-play into the Calais one.
