Whilst im rebuilding my motor after finding glazed bores, was going to do the new high comp head i have, but looking at the head i have on it, which took a fair little bit of time to do, i think i'll just tickle the ports a bit more and shave it down, while i spend time doing the new head really well. wow.. that makes a hell of a difference.. Im just getting another head to put bigger valves etc on.. wee how that goes.. and i might try some proting like this :)

Ive seen that, cheers. Pretty much what i did, but theres always room to improve and ill be trying some of that in the next head! |

Cut the post out of the intake port that the head bolt goes thru. Get a recessed hole milled into the bottom of the port to use an Allen head bolt for a head bolt. Then get it drilled and tapped thru the top of the port to plug it. When finished, smoo
