Whilst im rebuilding my motor after finding glazed bores, was going to do the new high comp head i have, but looking at the head i have on it, which took a fair little bit of time to do, i think i'll just tickle the ports a bit more and shave it down, while i spend time doing the new head really well. This was my first ever attempt at porting.

wow.. that makes a hell of a difference..
Im just getting another head to put bigger valves etc on.. wee how that goes.. and i might try some proting like this :)

Ive seen that, cheers. Pretty much what i did, but theres always room to improve and ill be trying some of that in the next head!

Cut the post out of the intake port that the head bolt goes thru.
Get a recessed hole milled into the bottom of the port to use an Allen head bolt for a head bolt.
Then get it drilled and tapped thru the top of the port to plug it.
