Hey I just did a rear wishbone change on a 1995 VS IRS with one from a 1996 VS IRS.
looks to be shorter...
I know that there was a change from VQ to VS as I found this out the hard way about 4 years ago...
just wondering if anyone knows when they changed the overall width, I always assumed it was VQ VP only, but maybe it runs right thru VR and into early VS?
there is a higher demand for the early narrow IRS diffs as people can run bigger backspace nad hence wheels on the rears.
just trying to figure out when it changed.
thanks. |

VP & VQ are the narrow rear. VR & VS went to the wider track, which is effectively in the arms & hubs. This was to match the wider front track introduced on the VR.
With these things hitting 20+ years old now, who knows how many arms have been replaced from being swung around & bashed into gutters. Many people didn't realise the difference, and sould have easily fitted the wrong ones in the past. |
Cheers,
