Need some help with the connection of the boot light. From the photos I took of the r.h. Side courtesy light area when the car was dismantled there was a orange/white and and an all white pair wire from the fuse box to this light and the same coloured pair wire looping to the l.h. Side courtesy light. The original orange/white terminal on the right hand side courtesy light had a spade connector on it for the looping of the same colour wire to the l.h. Side light. The push on connectors for the connection of the all white wires for these two lights were missing, with the wires twisted together and wrapped around the other terminal on the r.h. Side light. (I can't find this original terminal so don't know if it had the spade connector on it)
The end of the single brown wire from the boot light has a push on connector on it and another short wire looped out of that connector to a female type connector. There is also a push in connector further down this wire. If this boot light was originally connected here what was/is the correct way to do this? (Did they use a "double" spade connector off the spades already on the r.h. Side light terminals?)
I note that the Rare Spares terminals supplied with new courtesy lights don't have the spade connector terminals on them?
Appreciate any advice
Gerard
