Hello Gents, can you explain how to remove a front window regulator? I had a go on the weekend and could not work it out. Does the glass have to come out?

The glass doesn't need to come out.
Pull all the bits off the inner of the door, wind the window all the way up and support it, preferably with a second pair of hands, remove the regulator adjusting cam stud and locknut, then remove the regulator fixing screws. The rollers need to be slid out of the lifting channel, and then it should come out through the inner door opening.
If you ever need to remove the glass the rear guide channel bracket needs to be unbolted (two bolts through the bottom of the door), the guide channel pushed back, and the inner rubber weatherstrip needs to be removed. The window is removed through the top of the door.
