I'm after any assistance to fit part DM1009 left door mirror. Where the instructions say to drill the screw holes, there's a channel on the inside which is fully enclosed so I'm wondering how to fit and tighten the screws from the inside.

I request assistance from Rare Spares on this matter. I have followed the installation instructions but cannot fit the mirror. Looking forward to a prompt reply & solution to this matter.

The left exterior mirror was NOT available as an accessory on coupes. There is GMH Dealer documentation clearly stating that the left mirror was not available on coupes. Skidmark has been contacted about this issue.

Not sure what your meant to do, but I used a hole-saw to gain access through that channel and that worked.

The other alternative if you want a mirror is to use one that clamps on to the door frame itself. These are known as "PEEP" mirrors. Part number DM1023 OR DM1025 may be suitable. One is 3"and the other 4".At least with those you could remove them if displaying your car.
