On cold mornings my 2000 2.8 Diesel Turbo Isuzu Rodeo is hard to start.

Very cold morning- Glow light comes on for normal time but engine is still difficult to start, so i go through 2 glow settings and then engine starts ok.

Normal morning first start- Glow light comes on for 2 seconds and is very difficult to start, 7-8 turn overs before it starts.

Once first start is completed all starts afterwards the same day, Glow light comes on for 2 seconds and starts immediately

Engine has the extra cold start setup on it

Engine is reconditioned, injectors are reconditioned, new radiator and hoses....

Anyone got any ideas what problem is

1 or more glow plugs not working is my guess. My 2002 3 lt had to be glowed a couple of times, replaced the glow plugs and it was back to starting like a petrol motor. Didn't need glowing just turn the key, now its winter l'm back to glowing it before starting.
