Interesting. The first 5.5j rims I knew of were for LC, which of course are 13". Are they 4.24" PCD?

I didnt measure the PCD but its stamped Holden and from models FE to HG they were all 4.25" PCD so I'd say they would be.
There are four of these rims and their height is definately 1/2" narrower than the others.

When was the HK Monaro released, July 68?
These rims are May 68
Interesting.

HK Monaro used the same rims as other HK unless Rally Rims (6") fitted as standard or option.

The Holden PCD was actually 4.24", not 4.25" up to HG. Small difference, I know, but a difference nonetheless.
Were those rims on the car, or did they come from elsewhere?
There are 3 HK wheels I know of, 5J-14 std, 5J-14 heavy duty, and 6J-14.
HT went to JJ wheels.

Good point Geoff, I think the story was they were removed from a large trailer or caravan.
I'll have to reconfirm that but I think thats what he told me at the time.
If they were not designed for a car I wonder why they have Holden on them?
Maybe the Holden caravan
