Hi bit confused about the correct size of the rear wheel brake cylinders for my HR ute. The Utes have larger rear brake shoes than passenger cars what size are the cylinders?? Rear spares list front cylinders and also rear but their rear ones indicate that they fit the complete range sedans wagons and ute panel vans this to me dose not seem correct given that the Utes and panel vans have larger rear brake linings?

The brake wheel cylinders for sedan, wagon, ute & van for HD/HR are the same for each brake system.
In other words, 4-wheel drum cars all get 1-1/16" fronts & 13/16" rears. ALL disc brake HD/HRs get the smaller 9/16" rears.
As you quite correctly point out, utes & vans get wider rear shoes. They're actually the same width as the front shoes on 4-wheel drum cars.
The rarest shoes, that you probably won't be able to buy new, are the rear shoes for disc braked utes & vans.
The rear shoes for disc braked cars have a different profile to suit the smaller 9/16" cylinders which don't use push rods.
This means that disc braked utes & vans have wide rear shoes but has no cut-outs to match the small 9/16" cylinders.
Brake shoe part numbers are:
All 4-wheel drums cars:- E1172 Sedan/wagon 4-wheel drums:- E1174 Sedan/wagon with front discs:- E1132 Ute/van 4-wheel drums:- E1172 Ute/van with front discs:- E1130
