Can anyone tell me what the codes below correspond to.

Body HD2103-40637-S
Trim code 576-E25
Paint code 585-5084

Ute had been modified and would like to know what it was originally.
Thanks

Hi MURF.

That first line should read 2106, not 2103. 2016 is GM-H speak for a utility.

It is the 40,637th HD out of the Pagewood (Sydney) plant.

Originally it was painted Fowlers Ivory (White) all over & had Mephisto Red interior trim.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks Dr Terry.
Yes typo on my part, it is 2106.
Looks to have had a lot of parts donated to it from a Hr Premier.
Black interior with buckets, disc brake front end with booster,
front gaurds, grill etc from HR. Cream with white roof. X2 gauges

Terry, is it the 40637th HD out of Pagewood, or the 40637th HD body out of the Pagewood body plant?

Remember Pagewood also:

Assembled vans using Elizabeth bodies which are not accounted for in the Pagewood body total.
Built ute bodies for Brisbane Valley plant to assemble which are counted in the Pagewood body total.

Just did some more research on this.

Pagewood changed their body numbering not long before this ute, from individual model totals to cumulative total. So this effectively is supposed to be the 40637th HD body out of the Pagewood body plant.

BUT, at the time Pagewood chassis numbers which should be also the cumulative HD total out of the Pagewood body plant are sitting just about 10,000 numbers higher. So something is wrong.....

Also Pagewood body plant built the majority of all HD bodies for the Brisbane Valley plant, which all have Pagewood chassis numbers and Pagewood body numbers.

Plus Pagewood also assembled Elizabeth vans (which aren't counted in Pagewood chassis numbers or body numbers) BUT they also assembled a large amount of export HD's which were all Elizabeth bodies which are like the vans (have Elizabeth chassis numbers and body numbers).

So it is a dog's breakfast to figure out totals out of any of this!
