ive bought a set of straight cuts for a 351 clevland and the cam gear has no timing mark on it i was told as long as the engine was timed and all the marks lined up on the original gears b4 i took of the old timin it should just go on because they only go on one way is this true or what can i do

hey mate, Sounds good to me, you could use a degree wheel but like they say if its timed already wack em on. aint nothin stoppin you from centre punching on your own marks if you are so inclined.
