Has anyone seen a bolt in modern tank for a HK-HG? Something that fits in the standard hole, is a decent size and is setup for an in-tank EFI pump and return line? Just thinking of doing this rather than trying to modify an original tank.

I found that site after I posted this and emailed to see what they can do. I also found a site called EFI hardware that sell a weld in ring that suits either a VE dead head setup or BA Falcon or VT/VX pump depending on tank depth.

I got a reply back from Torque Fabrications. Their stuff looks good, but it is pricy, not a rip off but still a lot of $. I guess if you didn't already have a good tank it would end up pretty good. The tank is not much change from $2000, plus the fuel pump setup at about $400 for the pump.

I have also found where I can get a setup off a VT that will suit the stock HK tank. Setup comes with a pot, pump, weld in ring, gaskets/seal etc. These are about $400, but I'd have to cut the hole and get it ready to go and get an expert to weld it in:

https://www.efihardware....-High-With-Return-System

These reservoirs are spring loaded so they push on the base of the tank. The HK-HG tank is about 300mm high. I'd have to use this VT setup as the Holley Sniper system works best with a return line, although it can be setup to deadhead like a VX or VE meaning no return line. Awesome for an LS conversion! These VT senders are 246 to 39 Ohms full to empty and I have found a device that will do the conversion for me from 0-30 Ohms as per a HK-HG gauge, ordered one from the USA. They can also be trimmed for odd tank shapes so the gauge is actually accurate. Will make an EFI conversion, especially a deadhead one simple as. The Holley Sniper system bolts on where any 4BBL fits, it has everything inbuilt into the throttle body, and also has TH350 or TH700 kickdown stuff. It controls your spark as well, so no more mechanical or vacuum advance. Plus it has thermos fan controls. A stock 4BBL aircleaner fits too, and if you buy the spreadbore Quadrajet version any Quadrajet aircleaner fits. It learns too, and is a very simple setup. Cost about double a quality performance Holley, but will idle, choke, cold run etc perfectly.
