Hi can anyone tell me the height of the raised chrome edge on the red painted holden grill badge hk gts Monaro only I'm guessing about 0.3mm but need to be spot on
some idiot has polished the edges of in places on mine
I'm in the process of making some repro badges and need them to be perfect so they look the part if there is any market I can make a few more to help some enthusiasts out
proto type looks great but need to be perfect to satisfy the perfectionists
if anyone wants one i'm guessing maybe $150
will post pics as soon as finished

I have a grill badge on mine that was apparently (so the previous owner said) off an original GTS.
The depth varies depending on the thickness of the part of the letter as there is a radius at the edge. The most consistent measurement I can get is 0.54mm in the middle of the larger parts of each letter.

I do have some NOS examples of these here somewhere for my HK's. I can't remember where they are at the moment, will see if I can locate them. |

I measured mine (HK GTS restored, with paint in the letters). Min measurement 0.14 mm, max 0.27 mm. Deepest measurement was (generally) in middle of thickest part of letters, shallowest (generally) at edges or in middle of thinnest sections of letters. Not very consistent though, all depends on how much paint is used. Hope this helps!
