Hey people,
Can anyone recommend or supply a manufacturer part etc for a self regulated vacuum assist pump for my brake booster. One where the on/off is controlled by vacuum sensor in the actual pump.
Prefer this as distinct from a pump and an external regulator.
Thx

Doug, I can't recommend any specific supplier or valve, but have you thought about using a solenoid operated valve, controlled by a vacuum sensor? Possibly with a relay as well to prevent the vac sensor from having to handle the full current load.
Use those to control an off the shelf vacuum pump.

And this is waaay off in left field, but there are vacuum pumps for boat/RV toilets, with vac sensors. Probably not suitable for your application, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
