My best mate has an VZ 175 Alloytec which overall is a maintained and unmolested condition.
It continuously has a 'Check Powerchain' warning and 'Reduced Vehicle Performance' I use a program called Software on ELM Street to read the codes:
P0332: Knock Sensor Circuit Low Frequency Bank 2 -This code is continuously on
The following codes are random; occasionally come on when floor the throttle. Sometime it comes on, sometimes in doesn't
P0121: Throttle Position Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity P0221: Throttle Position Sensor 2 Circuit Range/Performance P2101: Throttle Actuator Control Position Performance
What could be causing these codes?

It looks like it will need a new knock sensor on bank 2 & a new throttle body.
Send me a PM for costs.

Hi Dr Terry, thanks for the offer. We recently took the car to a mechanic to read the codes and install a reconditioned throttle body and a new knock sensor installed. Unfortunately the same error codes appear including the painful orchestra of warning chimes and speed reduced to idle. Also a Very Low Fuel warning comes up too. Does anyone have any ideas what to do with this problematic Holden? Normally these problems comes from unreliable brands such as Audis, Range Rovers, etc Edited by user Friday, 23 October 2020 7:37:44 PM(UTC)

If you are getting a very low fuel warning & the tank has plenty of fuel, then the engine ECU is the most likely culprit.
Not the end of the world, send me a PM.
