Hello, Does anybody have the 2 pak tint codes for EH, HD and HR Holden 149 to 186 engine paint? The original color is known as Holden Special Engine Red and the acrylic tint code is 6280. Problem is the acrylic codes don't translate to 2 pak. Would appreciate some help. Thank you.

The X2 and 186S red was called X2 engine red, but you can’t mix it anymore in original colour as no lead anymore.

I’d have formulas for them but you can’t get it exact as the lead tinters are no longer available.

Can't you get a decent paint shop to make up an acrylic sample and then eye match to 2 pac. After the car's been driven and the engines been heated the colour changes. Are you after the right colour from factory or what it looks like 50 years later? They're both different

Problem with two pack on an engine is getting the cr@p off at rebuild time! I had to strip an intake a few years back, had to sand blast it to clean it up.
