HI Guys, Im Chasing a wire Diagram both under dash and engine bay, I downloaded a workshop manual but was total shit, no wire diagram and showed how to rebuild your T5 in your HQ so needless to say useless for my application. I'm in the process of rebuilding a style side HQ nearly at the finish but need a wire diagram. Also not asking for a freebee, I'm quite happy to pay for the correct workshop manual with wire diagram, just not from emanuals online. Cheers Andy

What is a HQ style side? Style side is a Ford thing, specific to F trucks I think. Buy a Gregory’s or Scientific Publications HQ book. There is a 6cyl one and a V8 one. They have decent wiring. Or buy a HQ Service manual volume 5. Links to all 3 below. There are plenty of others on Ebay, just look. You can buy them all new too. The V8 HQ one shown is an original, after HJ was made they combined HQ and HJ, like the link after it. https://www.ebay.com.au/...jPr9&frcectupt=true

Thanks for your reply, Was really looking for a download rather than the book, But will consider that option Style side is a general description not branded, you could buy a style side Holden Ute or a tonner Ute, one having a paneled arse end or the other had a flat tray I think you are getting confused with step side which is a totally different style again. No Styleside in a Holden. Just Holden Utility and Holden Cab Chassis. You could get a Fleetside tub on a GMH assembled Chevrolet C20 truck. Styleside was Ford’s name for what Chevrolet called Fleetside. Nothing to do with a Holden. GMC used Wideside, Jeep used Townside and Dodge used Sweptline. As Chevrolet introduced the concepts, Fleetside and Stepside are the two mostly used generic terms. In Australia only the Ford vehicles have a detachable tub called a Styleside, AU onwards Falcon utes were like this. There was never a Holden ute done like this, VY-VZ cab chassis were never offered with a Fleetside tub.
One of those books was only $5. |
