NSW emissions for 6cyl for 1984 from memory. VK Commodore had it too.

yep.. V7Y was on Commodore - code on the plate is showing compliance with NSW Emissions control

What actually was the NSW Emissions Control? Just more stuff on the motor, sensors, solenoids etc?

it was not an ADR requirement .. but a NSW only requirement for emmissions reductions
(mainly in Sydney because of the 'photo' haze pollution)


and a major PITA for GMH... different distributors, advance vac control, TVS switches
vacuum switches, manifolds (on 2850 L6 and L19 4 cyl eng) . decelleration control features added
to the carbys, all to meet the NSW 'specific' pollution requirements
