I think that is the Police speedo for HJ. I believe that they were made by VDO.

I’ve never seen one. Have seen most other series but not HJ. Wierd place to find one, maybe it was a paddy wagon?

I just looked in the HJ Parts catalogue and there is 3 different Police speedos!

The other weird thing is the blank outs for the 2 air vents on the driver's side (within the dash fascia) and yet there are 2 air vents on the passenger side. Wonder what the under dash air plumbing looks like?

The RH vent is in the closed position. You can just see the serrated edges of the 'wheel' used to adjust the angle. Still doesn't explain the lack of a LH vent for the driver. Re the speedo, that's a new one for me! Good catch.
Attn camry drivers. The accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right.
