Hi All,

I am struggling to find a drag link and pitman arm for a factory 350 HT. I have seen a couple of suppliers selling new drag links and pitman arms to suit factory Holden powered V8s but no luck finding any for a factory 350 (No power steer) any help would be much appreciated.

There is no difference in the drag link or pitman arm between 6 & V8.

AFAIK the same parts were used for all models (non-power steer) from HK up to mid-HG when the tie rod end changed size.

In other words 6-cyl Kingswood items are the same as HT GTS350 ones.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Hi Dr Terry,

Thanks for your help, it is strange that the ones for sale specify that they do not suit the 350. But I will now remove it and try to compare it to a new one.

Thanks again

Could you send me a link to an advert which says that they don't suit the 350.

Me too. I'd love to know who is claiming that.

The steering connecting rod ( "draglink" ) is the same for all non power steering applications from HK, through HT and early HG with the 11/16" rod ends. It changes in later HG with the 9/16" rod ends.

The only way I could see anyone claiming a difference for 350 (apart from trying to jack the price up....) is if it is used in conjunction with some kind of aftermarket sump.
