1973 HQ one Tonner manual 3 speed Manual it supposed to be a
253 V8
And on one of the tags it’s a long thin one
It says 8M60DD
Chassis number
DHQ 49385B
And the built plate is to hard to read do you know if it is a V8? Or do you know who would know what the numbers mean?
Thank you

Sorry to say it is not a 253, original engine would have been a 173 6 cylinder.

Post up it’s VIN and I’ll look it up. All HQ cab-chassis are the same, just some are optioned with 173LC, 202HC or 253. There may be a few 202LC or 253LC as well. Some optioned with 4spd or Trimatic auto too.
