All. Some obscure PO codes for you to solve. These are for HK but some will be applicable to other Series.

L22 - 130ci export red 6.

J50 - Power brakes (4 wheel drums)

GN2 - Rear axle radius rods (GTS and only with L30 and M21)

K69 - Ignition Key (3 key set)

L34 - 327ci V8 engine. Only really had a code as it was initially to be be part of an option package on GTS.

L61 - Economy Carb (only with BO2 taxi equipment)

NA4 - Fuel tank stone guard

NG1 - Fuel Tank 25 Gallon

N84 - Red band tyres. Standard on GTS (on P69) and GTS327 (on PX4). Only with P69 (6.95x14 Premium-S), P70 (7.35x14 Premium) or PX4 (D70x14 High Performance H) tyres.

T47 - Hood ornament (standard on Brougham, optional everywhere else)

U16 - tacho

U18 - export kmh speedometer

U80 - rear seat speaker

V81 - Trailer Provisions

V86 - Fire extinguisher (added feb '69)

XT4 - Tinted windscreen glass (only prior to 1/1/70)

C80 - Switch front door jam

CA2 - Delete Black soft roof covering (only applicable to Brougham)

E91 - Cover - tonneau clip-on

A33 - Power operated end gate window

D99 - Two tone paint

I believe that L22 was 130ci 6-cyl export engine. The 250ci Chev 6-cyl was LD4.

Was L34 the original engine option for the 327 SBC V8.

I've seen XT4 as a tinted windscreen.

The ones I have queries with are NA4 & NG1, could they be N44 fast ratio steering & N91 sports wheel discs (GTS wheel covers).

N84 & T47 are quite odd.

CA2 possibly related to windscreen wipers. Seen a similar code in HJ production sheet

Added the correct answers so far.

Terry, NA4, NG1, N84 and T47 are all valid HK PO's.

CA2 isn't anything to do with wipers.

Is N84 delete spare tyre?

C80 door switches for interior light?

C80 is close, I added it. N84 is a tyre option but not delete spare tyre - that is P32 (delete tyre) and N61 (delete spare wheel). If you wanted to delete both it was N61+P32.

E91 isn't as stated, nowhere near it. E87 and E91 were two versions of the same thing.

Good to see you around Warren. Almost correct but close enough. E91 is "Cover - tonneau clip-on", as opposed to E87 "Lash on tonneau cover"

There was a few packages for different rear seat belts. The part numbers for coupe were 7439496 and 7 for respectively Britax and Cooldrive setups.

The option codes were:

A47 - rear seat belts lap and shoulder (sedan, wagon and Brougham only).
A64 - rear seat belts lap type (everything except ute and van).
A68 - rear seat centre belt lap type (everything except ute and van).

slightly off topic.....
many eons ago when I had hair and had walked out of my high school accounting Form 6 year with a pass
I got a job- accounting audit trainee with a chartered public accounting firm

One of their clients for audit of their books was CoolDrive Consolidated Industries in Broadmeadows
and one of the first places I helped audit . I got picked up by the partner each month and taken out
to assist the audit team.

Did many things.. got taught how to count bolts Anxious , how to work out metal press strokes but better still
as many of the automotive customer staff did, got a ride on the seatbelt test sled. Dancing

woot.. accelerate up to 50kmh on the sled and wham, stop in less than 2 metres from that speed.

Made you very aware of the effectiveness of safety belts (as the CoolDrive engineers called them)
