Hi all 10/74 HJ 1 Tonner, appears to be a bit of a bitza ! Chasing a replacement kickdown switch that mounts onto the accelerator pedal. Can you get a photo of it? Most auto HQ-HZ and LH-LX should have the same switch from memory. |

No, the HQ-HJ have a kickdown switch which looks like a brake light switch, while the HX-WB have a 'slider' type switch the same as early Commodores. HQ-HJ see here: https://www.ebay.com.au/...tomid=&toolid=10050

Yes that’s right, I remember now. My 1976 HJ had the slide type, it was a 4.2 auto Kingswood ute. All my HQ’s were manual except the Deville and it had that button type. |

A Tridon Reverse Light Switch TRS022, with 2 thin 12mm * 1.5 locknuts works a treat
A Commodore cruise control switch is the correct thread & has both NO & NC contacts & does the job but is all plastic & looks a bit shit
