Hi,
I have an Holden SSV VF MY14 manual and now have replaced all fuel injectors at considerable cost over the last 5 years.
Last week the same symptom happened again. ESP warning and engine light comes on.
Car running extremely rough.
Been told by mechanic its the fuel injectors failing when this happens. Don’t know which one yet. Will find out on Tuesday.

I’ve only ever run 98 in the car.

Can someone possibly let me know what I’m doing wrong?

I’m now at thinking it’s time to move the car on. Been no end of trouble with these injectors.

Regards Miami.

... common on early LS3 engines used here on Vf and GenF

at 80,000 about 18 months ago I had the same issue - #3 and #5 were showing on the scanner as 'misfire'

I replaced the plugs, leads and coils.. still had a misfire. Got 2 BOSCH injectors (from my bro who works for them)
and 1/2hr of work = no misfire

just over 90,000 now and no repetion thanks goodness

There’s a thread over on justcommodores that covers this known fault. Someone with the username Miami posted over there back in 2019, might have been you.

Here is a link https://web3.justcommodo...injector-failure.273845/

We bought a VFII SSV new in 2015 and the injectors failed around 2020 from memory, well out of warranty. Local dealership charged us full price until we returned with knowledge of the known fault. They couldn’t refund the full cost quickly enough! Car runs mint to this day touch wood.

Not sure if Holden is still covering this but could be worth a try.

Bottom line, doesn’t sound like you are doing anything wrong.
