Hi guys just needing some help, out Ht Monaro Gts 350 dash lights aren’t working and neither is both low beam headlights, thinking maybe headlight switch or dipper switch? There’s no power at fuse for instrument lights at either low or high beam, I put power to instrument light wire at fuse box and lights work, the high beam dash light works and headlights only work on high not low. Was thinking either switch, dipper or earth but would be good to narrow down before I start, thanks in advance for any help, Cheers

Hi Beam works and so does the tail lights, also I now have low beam I pulled the dimmer switch off the floor and the connector was broken and the low beam wire was off, so now just the dash lights not working

I suspected 2 separate faults & you've already found one.

If the tail-lights are working, then their fuse is OK & that part of the light switch is OK.

The dash light fuse is supplied power from the rheostat inside the light switch. If you have no power at either side of the dash light fuse then the rheostat is faulty.

The fix is to repair or replace the light switch or connect a bridge between the green & brown wires at the switch connector. The brown is the tail-light wire & the green is the supply wire to the dash light fuse.
