Hi ALL, I have a Holden HD, i have owned it for years and was told it was a HD X2 but I don't know how to identify it. Yes it is a Melbourne built car and I have number on the tag in the INSERT. Does anyone have any information.
Cheers

Does it have X2 badges? That would certainly get people telling you it is one!

What about the other X2 features? Carby? Exhaust manifold? You might want to put up pictures of the engine bay so the experts on the HD ( not me) can see.

Being a Dandenong body it should have a package code on the BODY ID tag. If you post that up here I'll tell you if it was an X2 or not. You'll have to put it here, not by PM or email as I won't answer those, has to be in public view (thank a certain moron in WA for this).

DEF 100% proof as per HK's request .. but as one who had a manual X2 'Special' sedan (hmmm ...did the 215 standard sedan get X2?)
the usual things most point to are the badges, special manifold with 2 carbs, the air cleaner for that and the twin header cast exhaust outlets
plus a rocker cover with the X2 sticker
but
also, the different dash instruments for X2 powered cars are proof in my opinion

Best proof is the Owner's Manual as they often put the package code in those or a Dandenong bodied car.

Yes you could get X2 on both Standard sedan and wagon in manual and auto. I even have pricing for them.
