Hi Jase, as you probably gathered you have a HZ one tonner from the Adelaide plant.

It was a factory 253 with trimatic auto.Diff ratio was 3.55.

Painted Palais white with tan trim.

Do you know if all the number should match?

Hi Jase,

The skinny tag matches the Body tag, both have the same number 469744 incorporated.

The chassis number you have on the compliance plate should match the physical number stamped in the chassis near the steering box.

The engine number will be completely different again, won't match the other numbers you have here, but might give some insight if its of the same era as numbers being issued in late '79 and possibly original to the car or definitely not if wrong era.

Chassis number is consistent with the PSN of L469744. Looks to be pretty much stock HZ cab-chassis just optioned with 4.2L V8 and auto. It could possibly have had bucket seats but probably a bench and thus 3 seater. It was originally Palais White (1930) with Brown trim (67C) not Tan trim.
