Hi Bazza, I'm presuming it will be same as HT.
Open the boot up and directly under the lock look at the flat surface about an inch wide before the rubber. There is a plate about 2 inches long with screws in. This is actually the retainer for the lock. Might need a bit of a wriggle once the screws are out

Thanks Sandaro,
I gathered that was the way to remove it. Tried to pry it out but it didn't seem to want to move. Was just checking to make sure I was doing it right.

I wasn't sure what you mean by the circular spring. Is that part of the retainer or internal in the lock? If you do need a new barrel a locksmith can convert one to suit your current keys.

The long flat piece that operates the boot latch had fallen out of the end of the barrel and I had to remove the back seat to get the boot open. Can't work out what held the long piece in the end of the barrel and I presume the circular spring on the end of the barrel returned it to the locked position. If anyone has a close up pic of an original lock it would be handy.
