Trying to remove back of back seat from 71 GTR Torana. Facing the back seat, I can lift and pull out the right hand side a couple of inches, but I can't move the left side. Is there a trick? I don't want to exert too much force. Help please.

Remove the armrests so they don't get in the way. The bottom piece of the seat you need to then lift up the front edge then the rear should come free once about 45 degrees.
The back swab have tabs at the bottom corners that need to be bent straight and slid out and then the whole swab lifted a couple of inches to clear the catches at parcel shelf level
