Hi everyone

Can anyone tell me what the various Banjo axle codes actually mean.

Mine is a G95 code but not sure what the difference is between this and the other codes.

Thanks for any tips

Paul

The G numbers are the option numbers for Banjo diff ratios but only for HK/T/G/Q & LC/J series, HJ/LH onwards used different option numbers. The Chev 10-bolt (HK/T/G) & Holden 10-bolt (HQ) also used G numbers but you only asked about the Banjo diffs.

Different codes for different model series. HK/T/G & LC/LJ only used G codes regardless of the diff type. GV codes were introduced for the new Holden 10-bolt fitted to HQ V8s. In HQ, G was used for Banjo diffs only.

HJ/LH onwards used a mixture of GV &
