You will need the engine mounts on the HR front end cut and welded moved to EH position and the EH sump used. |

Just as a matter of interest, if you have any old Holden that originally had a grey motor, and convert to a red motor, you will also need the EH sump. |

Tip: when you weld engine monts on, make sure steering is on full lock the elevate idler arm into its highest position., Otherwise idler arm will hit EH sump on 3/4 + lock or more. if you have an original Manual bodied EH floor + aussie box, this will result in the motor and box having a slight tilt with elevated mounts, and you will go through more front unis. So its a case of , a) do i put up with a bit of an angle going from box to tailshaft? b) or do i have engine vibration thru my steering column when its 3/4 turn or more.... does anyone has a solution to this other than refabricating floor and crossmember? To be having a properly engineered setup with draglink clearance and correct tailshaft angles, you have to modify the EH manual floor for an Aussie 4 speed. You cant beat physics. The Toyota 4 speed is a better fitting solution. |

yes EH sumps are a bit rare because everyone wants them for HR front ends in early holdens with red motors. they fit HQ-WB too and torana.
EH sump and pick up, $100.
