well, speed pro distribors have now stopped selling them, and HPW in syd are refusing to discuss the problem. they have had 5 break in the last few months, and 2 cleveland cranks breaking, and the keyway is holding the strker 351 together.

no one builts my grenades, its the quality of the trash we get theses days that help them grenade, mr bubba, give them a call to discuss, 03 9794 5177

Now we have more info,I have had this batch of cranks for 3 years.
All new stock ,As with most Professional Engine builders ,There is a Process to follow and industry standard mag/test and other procedures will save alot of Heartache, as to the origin of so-called eagle or cheap copys,Let the Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!.
5 cranks in a few months ,tends to point to a heat treatment or a base metal failure would be the first area in check.
I am not saying that it cant happen but to condem all eagle cranks ,
to this identified failure is somewhat extreme.how many cranks are out there compared to failures, How many cranks are reboxed to reflect branding and not origin??????.

well, thats true. there must be a manufacturing fault..

so far seems to be 308 that are failing, and also cleveland when going to 393 cubes. like you say, buyer beware!!

but then again, who knows these days
