Hi i have just came across a 350 Chev with the engine No Starting with the prefix 350M it is still fitted with the alloy tappet covers as fitted to the HT / HG Monaro. Condition unknown was in a boat and has been removed, suggesting it probably needs a full on rebuild. Any ideas on what it would be worth as is.It is complete but is running a Holley instead of the Quadrajet on the standard 4 bbl inlet manifold.

The M may mean "Marine", as some of these engines were used exclusively for marine use.
I have a Volvo Penta sterndrive in my boat, and the engine is a Volvo Penta AQ211, which is in fact a Chev V8 engine.
Will check the eng number today.
