Hi Everyone,

I thought i would let you know about the 9th HD HR Nationals.

For those who may not have heard of the HD HR Nationals before it is a gathering of HD HR enthusiats from all over Australia. It is held anually on the Queens Birthday long weekend. This year the nationals is on the 12th & 13th of June 2010 in Shepparton, Victoria. This year we hope to have 100+ cars attend.

Saturday there will be a Show & Shine display of all entrants cars at Lake Victoria. You have the option of getting your car judged. There are 5 judging categories. Trophies will be presented at a presentation dinner that evening.

On Sunday there is a short drive to a BBQ lunch with some fun activities.

The event is all about people getting together and sharing the passion for HD & HR's. So please don't think your car has to be show quality to attend. Judging is optional. All types of cars are welcome from stockies, customs & modified.

$110 entry fee (includes lunch saturday, presentation dinner with 3 course meal on saturday, bbq lunch sunday, nationals event t-shirt, tankard & goodie bag).

A few people have asked about judging categories so i thought i would update you all.

We will be having 5 Judging categories as found on the entrant form:

* Unrestored Original
* Restored Original
* Era Sports
* Modified
* Extreme Modified

Then within each of these judging categories there will be a trophy category for each vehicle model (HD & HR) and vehicle style (sedan,wagon, ute & panelvan).

So what it means is there will be a trophy category for:

Unrestored Original, HD, Sedan
Unrestored Original, HD, Wagon
Unrestored Original, HD, Ute
Unrestored Original, HD, Panelvan
Unrestored Original, HR, Sedan
Unrestored Original, HR, Wagon
Unrestored Original, HR, Ute
Unrestored Original, HR, Panelvan
Restored Original, HD, Sedan
Restored Original, HD, Wagon
Restored Original, HD, Ute
Restored Original, HD, Panelvan
Restored Original, HR, Sedan
Restored Original, HR, Wagon
Restored Original, HR, Ute
Restored Original, HR, Panelvan
etc...

If there is less than 5 cars in a trophy category we will award only a 1st. If there are more than 5 vehicle in a trophy category we will have a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
