i have a 1999 vt commodore, i recently put a second hand engine in it, since then i have had a few trouble codes showing up every now and again such as abs, trac cntrl, and check engine, these usually go away if i turn the car off and bak on, but tonight i went to drive my car and my check eng light is not turning off, and then will after a little bit, but makes my car run like s***, any ideas?

Have you left a wire off a sensor somewhere when you replaced the engine?

Check that the nut on the back of the alternator is tight. The one that holds the main wire to the battery.
Check your charging rate.
