Can anyone tell me what pushrod length they have used to get the rocker moving onto the center of the valve tops. I have AFR aluminium heads and Yella Terra roller rockers. Have ground an old pusrod down and ground the head round to get what I think is the correct length which is 193 mm or 7 5/8 long.this is about 4 mm shorter than the standard pushrod length.

all depends on a lot of things, the article above is a good explanation, basically at half lift you want the roller tip in the centre of the valve, lenght depends on cam base circle block deck height, head deck thickness. pete.
