Hi could someone help me out with the following ID codes:
LX Torana SLR5000
model: LX8VD69
body: 511735M
trim: 1888-60V
paint: 568-15951
isnt 1888 a paint code? what does 15951 refer to??
Also on my HQ Prem plates the trim code is 1879-39R. I know 39R is chestnut but what does 1879 refer to?

15951 is cotillion white 60V Beige/Chamois on early cars and also 60v can be Chamois/Covert 1888 Exterior colour combination number - GMH colour code. Edited by user Tuesday, 24 August 2010 2:23:49 AM(UTC)

1888 is the holden exterior paint code,15951 is paint manufacturers code for Cotillion White. Trim 1879 is the Holden code for Aquamarine metallic, the paint code should be 15821 which is the paint maufacturers code for Aquamarine.Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

The 1888 is more of an exterior colour combination code because it can be used for 2 tone cars also. ie 1438 is Persian Sand Mk II Metallic (567-30183) and Cotillion White (568-15951) on an LX, and 1925 is just Persian Sand Mk II Metallic. The 567 prefix is usually a metallic colour and 568 a solid colour.
