I've got a VY 'S' pack. Usually the radio turns off once you open the door but this morning it stayed on. After turning it off with the on/off button, the light and time was still illuminated. Has anyone had this problem and managed to solve it?

cheers...bluhj

I just got home and tried to see if the ignition switch was sticking on accessory. I took out the key and opened the door. Radio stayed on until I switched the wipers onto intermittent. Then it went off but goes back on when I switch the wipers off. It's got me stumped.

Did the wipers activate with the key out and the door open?

Yes they did.

Dr Terry
Thanks. Had a feeling after the last post it may be as I heard a sound from behind the dash shortly after and everything was ok. It's working alright now. Are BCM's interchangeable or do you have to get a specific one using the VIN?

cheers...bluHJ
