VX SS Oil pressure light coming on and off

The oil pressure light in my ss (2002 model) keeps coming on, normally after ive driven the car for about 10 minutes it flashes on then back off again. The oil level is normal and normal in colour. Any idea what this could be? and can i drive the car still? Thanks : )
