Hi I picked up a 1970 HG dealer ordering procedure manual at a swap meet..
It covers all production models of 1970 including Monaro's and Torana's..
I was wondering if It would be of interest to anyone who actually has a HG or LC...
It lists all options available for each vehicle..
Inside the front cover are a few internal holden letters(1971)stating the deletion of colours and trim combo's of particular HG's

I was going to flog it off on ebay but thought it be better to see if it of interest here first..

Does it have order sheets or just the proceedure manual?

I can think of few that would be interested in it. How much do you want?

Hi vanman. Are you able to flick through the book for me and tell me if there is anything in there about a 'package' which included chrome scuff plates on a Kingswood/Belmont or base Monaro, when ordered/optioned with carpet?

The reason I ask is that I had never heard of it before but the Concours winner at the past three Monaro Nationals had this supposed 'package'. Although it doesnt seem to turn up in any brochures of the day available to the public, I was informed that it was listed in the HK Salesmans Selling Manual. I have an HT selling manual and I cant find the reference to the 'package' in there anywhere. I also have an HT & HG Kingswood, both factory ordered with carpet but they dont have the chrome scuff plates.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Simon

I'll check it out for you when I get it.

The interior finish package (chrome scuff plates and anti glare rear view mirror) was HK only and was dropped soon after release. It did not include carpet, so if you only ordered carpet you got the standard scuff plates.
