I'm looking at a set of wheels designed for gen 1/11 Firebird out of the US, with the exchange rate so good it's looking cheap.
Can anyone tell me if a 17x9 wheel with 5in backspacing will fit under the guards of a WB Statesman? Like to know what tyres you run if you have tried this combo too.
Also, what are people paying for shipping wheels out of the US? Getting that priced at the moment, have a feeling that's going to be the deal breaker. have heard shipping bigger stuff from the US gets really exxy.
I've done a search and it seems the 5in backspacing is probably ok. Wondering if the 4in poking out is going to cause problems with guard clearance.
These are a Firebird fitment and as such have a 4.75in PCD, so they should bolt up ok.

i was flicking thru Just Parts current issue, there is an importer USAtoAUS or something like that charging $100 to import 4 wheels. not bad
