hi every1 just wondering if someone could help me with a rwd v8 engine conversion in a calibra. I know they have put an ls1 in a 318 bmw so i cant see why a calibra cant be done. Does any1 know where in melbourne i can get this type of work done cheers

The BMW was rear wheel drive already.

Unless you feel like owning a Calibra that owes you $50grand then it's probably not worth it.

Yep to convert from FWD to RWD or AWD to RWD such as a Calibra you will need to build the car as an ICV which as Playwme says will cost $$$$

That's why you could do it to a BMW or even find yourself an Opel or Vauxhall Monza to convert to a V8 as most of the conversion will use off the shelf V8 Commodore bits and you would end up with a much better looking car than a Camira Hatchback oops sorry Calibra.
