I need to have the exterior door handles re-chromed.
Before I cause any damage, are there any tips on how to dissassemble the button etc. to pull them apart?

Its been a long time, but I seem to remmember a clip or something in them, viewed from behind.
It was an easy dismantle. I did do it once, as I purchased some NOS rears and had to change the button to the longer rods.

Yes, there is a plate/clip but it looks like a "force fit" into where it seats.
They're out now, so I hope they go back easier than they did being removed :)
