looking at putting volvo disk brake diff in my eh sedan I am led to believe stud pattern is the same but not sure if measurements will mean for easy fit .If anyone else out there has themselves or knows of someone who has done such a conversion any information would be greatly appreciated |

I was just looking at this for a mate in the last few days (for a HR). After consideration I reckon a banjo is better. The Volvo standard ratios are too tall for his application (186 trimatic). Plus the hub needs to be machined down to fit Holden rims. Dr Terry told me yesterday that the brakes are not all that good on them either. Many years ago, this conversion was a simple way to get a reasonably strong rear end into an early Holden & get rear discs as well. Now, with the Commodore rear disc conversions onto banjo housings being cheap & easy, or a full Commodore diff conversion, the Volvo doesn't get used much. This is a Commodore rear disc conversion onto a stock banjo housing with EH stud pattern. Hand brake cable is readily available.  |

^^There doesn't appear to be a centre flange to hold the rims on the above picture? |

thanks for the info men it has given me something to think about,I can pickup diff for $100 so might give it a go and suck it and see.This would save me a lot as i read the commodore disk brake convo not cheap. |
