Gday Guy's just wondering if there is a difference in the struts fitted to a V6 VS Sedan and a V6 VS Statesman ?? The reason Im asking is I noticed that King springs only list a superlow for a V6 sedan, no ultralow's but list an ultralow spring for a Statesman ??? Having spoken to the suspension if an ultralow was available for a V6 VS sedan I was told no only for the V8 ??
As a foot note you can get ultralow for the rears, just not the front.
Thanks for any input Cheers Barry |

the statesmans ultra low spring is the same spring as a superlow commodore
its just the statesman is heavier so it will sit lower so they give it a different name for that application even though they are the same part number
for example in my falcon the v8's have an ultra low which is just a 6 cylinder super low, there is no ultra low 6

Thanks BIGCAV, the last time I lowered a car you didn't have a choice as you do now with low, superlow and ultalow. You just bought a set of lowered spring and if that was not low enough you got the oxy out and heated them up till you got the ride height you where after. My daughters boy friend wants to lower his car down, VS V6, but after a search we found only super lows available (excluding the Statesman listing) and no ultralows now I have a clearer understanding of why, the hard part will be getting him to understand with out him having a girly fit !!
