I have fitted torana brakes to my hr front end (was drum brakes) I have always been under the impression early commodore wheels are same stud pattern as EH and Torana is this the case ? |

Only the 4 cylinder wheels, the 6 cylinder and V8 wheels are metric version of HQ pattern.

As Warren has just said only 4 cylinder commodores are the same as the early holden pattern and it would be difficult to find any of those VB commodores around now. Although there are some very very close. i.e volvo. The wheel pattern is only half the story though. For example the wheel nuts are rather critical too. Its an interesting science if you want to bother. Its a little bit vague referring to early this or early that. It may have been discussed before but if I could ask the question. How many different wheel stud patterns used on Australian built cars and how interchangeable are they ?. Sorry that's a bit much. How about any less than 6 stud.

Thanks fellas for replies will just have have to check with manufacturers as want to use 15inch wheels ideally. Just thought if commodore were the same stud pattern could have kept a look out in case some good second hand ones came up. Goody |

They will be as collectable as a Camira. The 4 cylinder commodore was so bad that car thieves gave them back.
