Hi all, my two HT Grille badges have two different part numbers and one has two slotted dome headed bolts passing through it, centered vertically, holding the two parts together, part no/2805404-203. The other has the usual pins holding it all together no/2805404-382-1. Am I correct in assuming that the 2 bolt job is the earlier one belonging to my 1969 model? and the other off my 1970 model? It dosent really matter just curious is all cheers |

As the two badges both have the same part number 2805404 then the question is do they look identical. If you have a photo of the two it would be helpful. The numbers 203 & 382-1 indicate it probably came from two different suppliers. Up until the Commodores started it was common for GMH to have a couple of suppliers due to distance and manufacturing capabilities.

Badges are identical, even down to the faded away red. Only difference is the joining bolts/pins. |
